The School of Global Health Management and Informatics in the College of Community Innovation and Education at the University of Central Florida is a global leader in health administration and informatics. The school is devoted to being the premier provider of globally focused faculty research; quality education; and community commitment; all of which are enhanced by the diversity of our faculty, staff and students.


Students are engaged in instructional programs and opportunities for innovative research, focused on problem solving and making better healthcare decisions. Through the expertise of faculty members in public health, global health, health policy, healthcare leadership, long-term quality care, community engagement and health informatics, graduates are prepared for the challenges of a highly turbulent and competitive healthcare industry.

The School of Global Health Management and Informatics supports the Health track of the interdisciplinary PhD program in Public Affairs and the state of Florida’s first Health Care Risk Management program. The department also houses two bachelors programs and three Masters level programs:

  • Bachelor of Science of Health Service Administration

  • Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics and Information Management 

  • Master of Health Administration

  • Executive Master of Health Administration 

  • Master of Science in Health Care Informatics
